Hey guys! Welcome to my blog. I'd like to use this place to occasionally share news about events I'll be attending and maybe some short how-to origami tutorials! Yay!
In the next few months I'll be attending at least three local events (all in Clark County)--and I'd like to tell you about them!
First up is the Salmon Creek Farmers' Market, which is held every Thursday (3-7 pm) through September off 134th Street in Salmon Creek, just west of I-5 and behind the Kitchen Table Cafe. This market features fruit, vegetables, goat cheese, goat soap, bakeries, and more. Beginning July 28th, I'll be selling my jewelry at my very first booth there!
Then in late August (the 27th), I'll be at Northwest Organic Farms' Garlic and Heirloom Tomato Festival in Felida! Come for the food, live music, and fun!
And on December 3rd, just in time for Christmas, I'll be selling my origami jewelry at Terra Linda Consulting's EverGREEN Gift Market, held in the Marshall Center off McLoughlin in downtown Vancouver. This event will fulfill all of your gift-giving needs, and everything you purchase there will support local artists and sustainable practices.
One or two of these sound right up your alley? Then mark 'em on your calendar and come out and find some(thing) fun!
